The small print, plainly written
Cookie policy.
Essential storage keeps the site working. Analytics starts only after you accept.

Your choice.
Cookies are small values your browser sends to a website. Local storage keeps information in your browser without automatically sending it with each request. Session storage lasts for a browser tab. This policy covers all three.
Analytics is off until you choose Accept analytics, or enable it in Cookie settings and save. Rejecting, dismissing or ignoring the banner does not enable tracking. The previous “Got it” notice acknowledgement is not analytics consent.
You can browse and use the claim feature without accepting analytics. We do not use marketing trackers or session recordings.
What is stored.
Legacy: claim identifier
status_claim_actor- Type
- First-party cookie
- Duration
- 30 days from creation
- When
- Created by the earlier unpaid claim flow
This identifier is no longer created by the paid claim flow. An existing identifier expires after 30 days. It is HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax and Secure on HTTPS.
Essential: sign-in session
Authentication browser storage- Type
- First-party local storage
- Duration
- Until the session expires or you sign out
- When
- After you use the email sign-in link
Keeps you signed in so checkout and payment credit can be linked to the correct verified buyer. It is required only when making a claim.
Essential: cookie choice
status-forsale-cookie-consent-v2- Type
- First-party local storage
- Duration
- 180 days, then we ask again
- When
- When you accept, reject or save settings
Stores your analytics choice, the consent version and the time saved. It contains no account, advert or claim identifier and is kept in your browser, not sent to Supabase. Invalid, missing or expired choices leave analytics off.
Optional: analytics
Analytics browser identifiers- Type
- First-party cookies, local storage and session storage
- Duration
- Cookies up to 180 days from their latest write; local storage until consent expires or is withdrawn; session storage for the tab
- When
- Only after analytics acceptance
Our analytics provider uses browser and session identifiers to count visits and measure page views and claim steps. We disable session replay, automatic form and click capture, and automatic error capture. Our configured events exclude advert text and strip query strings and fragments from page and referrer URLs.
The live online indicator uses a temporary presence connection only after analytics acceptance. It closes when analytics is rejected or consent is withdrawn.
See our privacy policy, or contact us for more information about our analytics provider.
Change your settings.
Open Cookie settings in the footer at any time. Choose Reject analytics, or turn analytics off and save, to stop further tracking and clear analytics identifiers from this browser. Withdrawing consent does not automatically delete analytics already received by our analytics provider; contact us about deletion requests.
Your choice applies to this browser and is shared between open tabs on the same site. If storage is blocked or your choice cannot be saved, analytics stays off. Deleting the choice makes the banner appear again.
You can also clear site data in your browser. Removing the claim cookie loses this browser’s access to previous claims and credit; it does not delete adverts from Supabase.
Other services.
Supabase stores advert and payment records on the server; it does not replace the browser’s cookie choice. Vercel delivers the site and may use separate authentication and security storage for protected deployments.
Paid checkout opens on Dodo’s website, which manages its own payment and security storage. This banner controls analytics on status.forsale, not storage on Dodo or a sponsor’s separate website. External logos also make requests to their image providers.
